Rice Krispie Kiss





Make a rice krispie kiss for your sweetie. This is perfect for a princess party treat or a Valentine's Day treat.
Gather your supplies:
  • Funnel - or several funnels
  • Oil spray
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 45 marshmallows
  • 6 cups rice krispy cereal
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 1 Tbsp. shortening
  • Aluminum Foil

First, spray the inside of the funnel with oil.

This makes several treats, so you will want several funnels. OR, spray a funnel and a 9x13 pan.

Over a medium heat melt the butter and marshmallows, stirring frequently.

When marshmallows are melted, or at least very close to being completely melted, remove from heat. Add cereal and mix in. 		rice krispie kiss


Put rice krispie mix in funnels, then let cool. Let them cool for about an hour, or even a day! Remove from funnels.

Then, melt the chocolate chips and shortening over very low heat on the stove. A double boiler will work best, but you can do it on the stove.

When the chocolate has melted, use a spoon to drip it over the rice krispie treats in stripes or circles. Let cool completely.

Wrap in foil.
