Better
yet, decorate a square or round cake with white fondant and circle cut
outs of various sizes of black fondant. Maybe add a red fondant bow in

Your colors can go in almost any direction: pink and purple,
black and white with a dash of red, gold and red, turquoise and brown

Make a centerpiece

(ages 4-16)
Cut out fashion pictures from magazines. You can use any
picture of any person from any advertisement. Then give the guests the
pictures, scissors, tape and/or glue. Have the guests mix and match
body parts,
outfits, and the heads of the pictures to create new fashions. For more
fun,
include pictures of the guests’ for this fashion party activity.

Split your guests into teams and give each team tissue paper
of multiple colors and clear tape. Have each team make their best
fashions from
the tissue paper and showcase them.

Make a photo shoot. Create a backdrop, bring some simple
props and dress up clothes. Then have your guests dress and pose for
the camera.
Print the best pictures and give them to your guests before they leave.

Create your own custom colors for blush and eye shadow. You

Make
a Necklace Holder
(ages 4-16)
Give each guest a small wooden plaque to paint or decorate.
Then screw small hooks in the plaque to hold necklaces.

Body Glitter
(ages 5-16)
Mix aloe vera gel
with glitter. Use the very fine glitter
carried by scrapbooking stores and many craft stores. Mix and put in
small
containers like clean and empty make up containers. You can also check
the
craft and fishing departments for small containers to hold the body
glitter. This is especially for all your glamour party girls.
Old
is New (ages
5-16)
Make old clothes new with fabric paints and fabric adhesive
jewels. On the invitation ask guests to bring a shirt or hat they want
to
remake. Have a few plain t-shirts or hats available for guests who
forget to
bring their own. Make your old fashion new fashion party goers!
Make
an Earring Holder
(ages 6-16)
Fasten plastic canvas into open cubes to hang on a wall.
The holes in the sides will hold earrings and the cube can hold hair
scrunchies. A little gift your glamour girls can take home from the
fashion party.
