Crepe Paper
Twist Door Decoration
Stripe your door with this crepe paper twist door decoration.

Supplies:
- 3-4 coordinating crepe paper streamers
- Clear tape or masking tape
- Scissors
You will want to use one color of streamer to be the main color.
For my
door I chose red as the main color, with white, light blue and blue as the other coordinating colors. |
Instructions:
- Cut several strips of
streamers just a little longer than the door. You'll need 12 streamers
of one color (red), and 12 of multiple colors (four each of dark blue,
light blue and white).
- Tape two streamers up together to the top
of the door. You can use one piece to attach both pieces of streamers
or use two pieces of tape. It doesn't matter.
- Tape all the streamers across the top of
the door before twisting and attaching at the bottom of the door. It's
easier to adjust the spacing if that's needed.
- Twist the streamers, two at a time. Twist
the red and blue together. Twist each strand of streamers the same
amount of times. I did 7 half twists. Then tape the streamers to the
bottom of the door.
- Start at the side of the door opposite
the door knob and work across.
- Tape the twisted streamer in place around
the door knob if you will be using the door during the party.
