Practice carrying
trays of tea. Poor Cinderella did it each morning. Give your guests a plate
with a tea cup on it – one in each hand and, if they’re brave, one on the head.
Open and close the door with your foot for an extra twist.
Cleaning Relay. Split your guests
into teams and have them do a poor little maid's cleaning relay. Send
each member of the team, one at a time, across the room to blow up a
balloon, tie it, and then use it to sweep and dust a couple of items.
Then run back to their team so the next member can do the same. The
first team with each member to complete the chores wins.
Make wands for a
fairy godmother. Provide a 12 inch dowel for each guest, or even a
chopstick. Then decorate with glitter glue or wrap sparkly pipe cleaners around
the wands.
Make a ball gown with
tissue paper. You can try to find mice to make the gowns, but if not,
you’ll have to do it yourself. Split the guests into teams and give each team
several pieces of tissue paper and some clear tape. Then let them try to build
the most beautiful gown for the ball at your Cinderella party.
Find the Glass
Slipper. Hide
a slipper in the room somewhere while one guest is in another room and
can't see where it is. Then, have that guest come in and search for the
slipper while the other guests clap slow when the searching guest is
far from the slipper, and clap faster when the guest who is searching
is closer to the slipper.
Decorate a Slipper. Give each guest a set of slippers to decorate. Use fabric paint, jewel stickers, etc.
