Breakfast Bar Ideas

Breakfast is my favorite meal of the day.

I enjoy sampling the different foods at a breakfast bar.

I enjoy the morning sun streaming through the window, even if it’s almost halfway up through the sky.

If you’re planning a morning party, offer some of these brunch recipes to your guests before they leave.

Keep it simple and select only 1-3 foods from each section.

Drinks:
  • Milk
  • Orange Juice
  • Grape Juice
  • Apple Juice
Fruit:
Breads & Grains:
Condiments:
Meats:
  • Bacon
  • Sausage
  • Sliced Ham
Other Main Dishes:

My son says the best part of a breakfast bar is all the food. My daughter thinks all the food is great, except the nuts to which she is allergic. This breakfast bar could be the great start to a party or the best part of your day.

Fruit Smoothie
1 cup strawberries
1 cup ice cubes
¼ cup powdered milk
1 tsp. nutmeg
Clean and cut off tops of strawberries. Combine all ingredients in blender and pulse until smooth.

May add ½ cup of yogurt.

Yeast Cinnamon Rolls

Add:
¾ cup shortening

1 Tablespoon Salt
3 eggs

Beat 2 minutes on medium speed. Scrape sides and bottom of bowl.

Stir in 3 ¾ cup flour and 1 cup raisins, blend well. Scrape sides of bowl. Leave dough in bowl, cover and let rise in warm place for 1 hour.

Stir down 30 strokes.

On well-floured surface, roll dough into large rectangle. Spread ½ cup of soft butter on the dough. Sprinkle with cinnamon and 9 Tablespoons Sugar. Roll up and slice every inch.

Let rolls rise in well-greased pan 40 min. Bake at 375˚ for 20 minutes.

Remove from oven and frost immediately.
